A lot of the proposed republican budget cuts go after items that don’t directly impact their constituents like PBS funding, or National Endowment of the Arts. While some of their cuts I do agree with like cutting the IRS, but in the end it’s more message than substance. If you really want to attack the deficit then you’re going to have to cut stuff rich people like as well – i.e. corporate tax loopholes or defense.

One thing I didn’t want to let go of on Android when I switched back to the Verizon iPhone was the turn by turn in Google Maps. Then I downloaded Motion X GPS for like a buck. It has got so much better since I had my 3G, and in many ways I like it more than the google nav in Android.

I wish the ads on hotmail or live mail were more like google - Text links and not intrusive banner ads for sexy singles. So there are several posts on the web for killing these such as seperate software or updating your hosts files, but the easiest by far is to add the following sites to your Restricted Sites in the IE settings:
